02/04 Barbara Holbrook at Portfolio Cafe

Mark your calendar now for April 7. Barbara will be showing a selection of Digital Pop Art at Portfolio Coffeehouse April 1-May 15 and the
artist's reception is Saturday, April 7 from 7 to 10pm. This show has
been planning stages for a long time and it's gonna be lots of fun. I

01/04 First Friday's in April

Come join us on April 6, 2007 for our next First Friday. The event runs from 7-10pm and is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served.

This month we have two new artists whose works challenge our perceptions of the world around us and help us to look at things in a different light.


Joseph Fernandez, painter

I like to think of my pieces as living things that encourage the viewer to engage in a dialogue concerning the many emotions and feelings that we all experience in the course of a day. In my art I find the greatest reward comes from not taking anything for granted and always looking at the many sides of an object, argument, or belief - to see the whole picture.

Travis Blue, painter

Color conveys emotion, Canvas is the communicator, Lines allow the viewers subconscious, To Create their own interpretation of my work, All thanks to the universe that graciously allows, Me to create, Namaste.
